Port Albert, tins day,—Sailed: Restless, with timber. Wellington, January 29.—The R.M.s. Aorangi, from London via Hobart,- arrived off the heads at midnight, and was then steaming into harbour. Sailed : Waiinate, ship, for London. Melbourne, January 28. — Arrived: Peerless, from Auckland. Sydney, January 27.—Arrived: Pukaki, from New Zealand. Sydney, January 29. —Arrived : Wairarapa, s.s., from Auckland. Bluff, this day—The s.s. Te Anau arrived at 6 a.m. She left Melbourne at 4.45 p.m. on the 24th, arrived at Hobart 7.30 a.m. on the 26th, sailed again at 4 p.m.; anchored off Stewart's Island at 10 p.m. yesterday. She had light southerly winds and fine weather to Hobart, thence strong westerly and north-west winds. Saloon passengers for Auckland: Mrs Fenn, Messrs Fenn and Brinkworth. Wreck of the May Queen. Chbistchttkch, Saturday. — The May Queen has been abandoned to the underwriters. She i? lying with her head pointing S.S. E., and hanging on boulders from about the main-mast, the stern being in deep water. There is now nine feet of water in the hold. The weather is fine, wind blowing fresh fromS.W. Five hundred tons of car^o have been got out. The water at high tide goes over her stern, and almost reaches the main hatches. The fore hatch is the only one which can be worked. The crew left the vessel this morning, and have put up at the Sailors' Home. Sydney, January 30. — Arrived : Devonport, from Kaipara. Melbourne, January 30. — Arrived: Cabarfeidt, from Thames, N.Z. Adelaide, January 30.—Sailed : Vivid and Clansman, for Kaipara.
