ARRIVAL OF THE ALAMEDA.
The R.M. s.s. Alameda arrived this morning from Sydney at 6.30 o'clock. She sailed from Sydney on January 26th, discharged pilot at 9.40 a.m. on January 27th, passed a steamer bound west ab 4 p.m. ; at 8 p.m. passed Union Company's steamer bound west. Stopped for Auckland pilot on January 30th at 5.45 a.m. Time : 3 days 20 hours. Fine weather and smooth sea to Cape North, thence strong westerly winds and squalls. She brings the followin"1 passengers for Auckland : —Messrs J. R° Scott, W. J. Weaver, W. Longbottom, A. Numnis, J. H. Smith, and 106 in transit.
