LICENSED HOLDINGS MINERS EIGHTS.
Thames, this day. The several applications for Ucened holdings ■which have been pending for some time pa«t came before the Warden's Court yesterday, the first being that of Mr B, Wolff for a licensed holding at Maritoto. The Warden said: I think I intimated to you, Mr Wolif, at the last sitting of the Court, that I would refuse to grant the application. Mr Wolff then applied for a refund of the money deposited when making the application, which the Warden promised should receive his attention, though he did not think the whole could be returned. . The next application was that of S. Turtle for a licensed holding at Whaugamata. After some discussion the Warden said he would consider it later on. An application for a licensed holding at Whatigamata was then made by Mr H. W. Moore. The Warden adjourned the application until the 22nd of December. Mr Alex. W. Wilson's application for the Just in Time. liceoWd; holding at Whangamata was adjourned to-the same date. .
