SERIOUS ACCIDENT AT GOAT ISLAND.
Two young men named Vcrran ana Hubert went from Coromandel to Goat Island on Monday last for the purpose of catching or shooting some of the animals there. Ye"ran succeeded in catching a goat, and in trying to secure it he was pulled over a cliff some fifty feet high, and fell amongst the rocks on the beach. Hβ was missed '->} his comrade., who went in search and found Veiran lying amongst the rocks in a pool of blood. Verratrt face was very much cut and bruised, and lie had also sustained some injuries on the body He complained of great pain in the stomach, and it i 3 feared he has received internal injury. Ho was removed to Coromandel as speedily as possible, and is now under medical care in the Hospital there
