ILLEGALITY OF THE POLICE PKOCLAIMATION.

London, November 18.
• The authorities have withdrawn the charge preferred against Mr William Saunders, ex-member of Parliament for Hull, for addressing a meeting at Trafalgar Square, and aacused was accordingly discharged. The prosecution was abandoned on accountof the order issued by Sir H. Warren, forbidding the meetings, being merely a formal notice and not a legal proclamation.
