Examinations will be held at the School on December 19th and folio wing days for tho election of One (1) SENIOR, and Two (2) JUNIOR SCHOLARS. The SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP Is of the value of £30, with free education for one (1) year, and is o nen to all boys who shall be under the age of seventceu (17) years on December 31st, 1887; but it cannot be held with a District Scholarship. The subjects of examination will be:—LATIN, FRENCH, ARITHMETIC, ALGEBRA (to Quadratic Equations), EUCCID Books I. to IV.), ENGLISH COMPOSITION AN 'J GRAMMAR, HISTORY (General English and Outlines of Roman), GEOGRAPHY of Europe and Australasia, political and physical, CHEMISTRY.
