Hamilton, this day. Cricket Match.
A very interesting cricket match—the Hamilton Press v. The Public—was played on Saturday afternoon on Sydney Square, resulting in a win for the Press by one run. The scores were:—The Public, 65 ; Press, 66. The match was decided in one innings. For the Press, J. S. Edgecombe was the highest scorer, with 20, and for the Public, C. Box, 15. There was a good attendance of spectators, and great interest was taken in the game,
