Franklin North.
Mr F. Lawry addressed the electors of Franklin North in the West Taniaki Schoolroom yesterday evening. There was a good attendance, all parts of the district being fairly represented. Mr Alfred VYintle was voted to the chair. Mr Lawry was well received, and during his address was frequently applauded. A number of questions were submitted, and satisfactorily replied to. A vote of thanks and confidence in Mr Lawry was passed without dissent—amotion of thanks only not finding a seconder.
