AN IMPORTANT PURCHASE.
It is understood that Major Walmsley, who is at present in England, has purchased the stallion Limestone on behalf of the New Zealand Stud Company. He is a full brother to Quicklime, being got by Wenlock from Dnvernay, and has been a pretty good performer. Limestone was foaled in 1878.
