MR GLADSTONE ON HOME RULE.
Mr Gladstone, in a speech on Saturday, replied to Lord Hartington on Homo Rule measures. He contended that the pro' souee of Irish members in the Imperia Parliament was immaterial, pointing to the colonies which wero now unrepresented. Self-Government for Ireland was an absolute necessity for the welfare of the councry and the final disposal of the Irish question, and he called upon the Ministry to produce proposals to that end.
