CAMimiA.—A leader 9 inches "thick was cut to-day in the cross-cut at No. 3 level. A.small portion of quartz has been broken down, in which some strong colours of gold were seen.
Gkeymoutii, this day,
John Saiinderson, miner, 70 years of age, was found dead in bed at Moonlight yesterday. He had been ailing lately. The new boundaries of Grey electorate are considered fairly satisfactory.
A meeting in connection with the Shop Hours Bill is called for to-morrow (Wednesday) night at the V.M.C.A. Social Hall, when shop assistants aro particularly requested to attend, ■
