DuXEDIX, this day.
A. Lindsay, fanner, Strath-Taieri, attempted suicide by shooting in the neck on Friday. While being conveyed toDimedin Hospital in a trap, he escaped near the Lee stream, and though search parties have been out since, his whereabouts has not been discovered.
