Sie,—Larr,ikinism is still rampant in this neighbourhood. The business people in the vicinity have almost given up in despair any chance of having the nuisance abated. Can nothing ■ be, done., sir, to. punish these youthful demons in human shape? A previous letter ' on this subject'brought apoliceman,nightly, but a short time ago the worthy protector of the peace abandoned the ground to the enemy, no doubt thinking his appearance had stopped the nuisance. But it is not so; the larrikin comes forth more strongly than ever, having the benefit of a respite from official, viligance. — Yours respectfully, Peaceful. ■ ' . ' "' , ",
