Ifj was decided to pay a dividend of 9 per cent., 2J per cent, bonus on called-up capital, aiid 2| per cent, bonus to shareholders on purchases and commissions.

service of song,' "The Dairyman's Daughter," was given on Sunday afternoon in the Primitive Methodist Chapel, Upper' Pitt-street, in aid of the Sunday-school funds. The service was well attended, and' a full church choir rendered the intervening hymns in a very creditable manner under the direction of Messrs Turley and Wm. Carlaw. Tho beautiful and touching narrative from the pen of the Rev. Leigh Richmond, wae distinctly and impressively readby llev. A. J. Smith, of Alexander-street. In accordance with a general request the service will bo repeated at no distant date.
