Wattakkuei Falls Road.—Mr Meickle (wrote ottering to clear the abovo road for the sum of LlO. On the motion of the Chairman the matter was deferred until next October, and in the meantime the Engineer was authorised to prepare plans or taking Shell's land under tho Public forks Act. ■'Hepburn* Road.—A petition was pre.rited from a number of residents upon lis road, praying ■ that the above road lould be opened up. —The Chairman stated at this was all owing to a blunder in the U'vcy Department many years ago. One .of plans showed a road to the river and .other did not. This was not detected til two years after, and in the meantime d had been sold. It was resolved that , Chairman should bo authorised to for with the Commissioner ot' Crown ds upon the matter.
