(Before Messrs G. P. Pierce and P. L. Prime, Justices.) ■■ ■ Drunkenness.—Elizabeth Kennedy, James Gprman, and Nicholas Staunton were punished in the usual manner for this offence. By-laws. — James Mclhdoe was charged with leaving a cart • unattended without securing the wheel witli a chain. Defendant pleaded guilty, but stated that he had chained the wheel. Fined 5s and costs.— William Doonan was charged with riding a horse on the footpath of Church-street. Defendant pleaded guilty, but under extenuating circumstances. - Sergeant Pratt stated that the constable who had laid the information was not in attendance.—Adjourned till to-morrow, i : This was all the business. :: ''
