MEETING OF CREDITORS.

A meeting" of creditoi's in bhes.bahkrupt estate of George Baker (otherwise known as Smith) was held at the Official Assignee's office to-day. < There: were . present' the debtor and his solicitor, and Messrs Collins, Sheldrick, Wasteneys, andNolan(creditors). After the debtor's sworn statement had been read the question of • giving the debtor more time was discussed, The. creditors present expressed their, willingness to do so on their own" account. ..On", further consideration it was, however, deemed advisable to realise the live .stock in-the estate, also the logs' and v freehoid section, and leave-the farm and ife imrovements in the hands of Mr Schnawer, the title" being in his name subject to a loan of Ll6l [7s.
