New Zealand inscribed stock M :£W 105..: The weekly" returns1 ot the Bank of England show the total reserve in notes and bullion to be £15,200,000, and the proportion of the reserve to liabilities is 48 per cent. At to-day's colonial wool sales 12,000 bales were offered. The market, is firm. The total withdrawals amount1 to 10,000 bales. "" ! :
Sydney, June 24.—Wheait, 3s 3d to 3s 9d; oats, Is 9d to 2s 2d- maize, 3s 3d; potatoes. 50s to 555. i
Adelaide, June 24.— The wheat market is considerably depressed. Purchasers are limited to pressing requirements. Wheat is quoted at from 3s lid to 4s 6d, but farmers are holding back, being unwilling to submit to a reduction of prices. For flour there is little; demand, and; none whatever for export. Town brands are quoted at from 10s to and country brands at £8 to 10s.
