SEARCHING WESTMINSTER ABBEY.

MURDER OF A DYNAMITER

■ London, June 20.—The.police authorities iriade strict search yesterday throughout Westininster Abbey for explosives'. Col' onel .-' Mujendie, 'Chief'-'-Inspector of Explosives, and- other exports, personally attended and- overhauled the vaults. Specially - powerful'lamps-were.- used,' ;but the search, proved, fruitless,, nothing ;of a dangerous character being, found., -The police' took possession -of the' Abbey, .and everybody was excluded. Two fire engines fully equipped were stationed iii the Dean's yard,.and on the river, opposite the Houses of Parliament, was stationed a-powerful floating engine. ■ ■-'- • ; "■' "-.-;' !
