Jubilee Ministrels.
The unfavourable weather militated against the attendance at the opening performance of the Jubilee Minstrels at tho Agricultural Hall on Saturday evening. The performance was, however, a capital one, and quite up to tho best professional standard. In the " chair business," Messrs Doran, Small, Herbert, and Graham wero the most successful ; Mr Doran's song; " Only Eighteenpence," fairly brought down the house. The finale was a Jubilee tableau representing a number of courtiers and introducing their.national dances. A song and dance by the Marsh Bros, was also a meritorious item. The whole programme, which was of a most attractive character and which was gone through without a hitch, will be repeated this evening.
