The schooner Gisborne made an eight hours' passage to Mercury Bay-not to Gisborne, as stated in our shipping columns.

The 5.3. Oampere- (352 tons), Captain* Smith, arrived alongside the iwharfi at 10 a.m. to-day. She left DunedhV at 10"p.m> on the 10th, calling at Oamaru (11th), Timaru (13th), Napier (16th and 17th), Gisborne (18th), and Tauranga (19th), which latter port she left at 5 p.m., arriving as above. . Experienced strong N.E. winds with rain throughout. Passengers : Messrs McKay and Swabey. , ' \ The sis. The s.s. Clansman arrived from Tauranga at 7 p.m. on Sunday. Passengers: Messrs Col.
