Sydney, Thursday. The third clay's racing in connection with the A.J.C. Meeting "took place to-day. Heavy rain rendered the course heavy. Belting :b"to 4on Matador, 5 to 2 against Nelson. 10 to 1 against Mitrailleuse. A good start was effected. Lady Lovel led, 'the others following in a bunch as far as the turn, where Mitrailleuse was last. Tinning into the straight Matador ran to the front, but at the distance Nelson came out, and catching the leader, a great race ensued, resulting ill a, dead-heat between Matador and Nelson, Perfume third, followed by Lady Love!, Mitrailleuse, and Kingiish. Time, Imin SOsec. On the- deatheat being run off, Matador, who was fuvourite.lod all the way, and won easily by a length. Time, Imin iOJsee.
