Or tho many outside Auckland race mootings hold throughout tho season, thoro is none that is hold in such cstoom by racegoers as that of tho Henderson's Mill Turf Club, and their annual gathering is always looked forward to with the greatest amount of intorost. To morrow's meeting promises to bo equal in every way to those held in tho past, and with a tine day thero is sure to be a good attendance on tho picturesque little course. The names of those connected with tho meeting is a eufliciont guarantee that the racing will bo carried out as it Bhould bo, and altogethor there is every prospect of a copitalday's sport. The principal item of tho sovon events to be decided is the Cup, and of tho elovon engaged, tho winner should turn up in cither Victory or Cremorne, whilo Omata will be the hardest to boat in the Hurdle Race. The Railway Handicap is dependent on tho result of the Cup, but Catosby may bo handy at tho finish, and Rosio may ..pproptiato the Maidon l'lato. Tho first race starts at one o'clock, and trains leave the Auckland station at 11.25 and II 50 a.m. It is intimated that no games of chance will be allowed on the course, and ready-money bookmakers will bo prevented from calling the odds near tho stand.
