The annual picnic of the scbolara of St. Luke's Presbyterian Sunday-school took placa at Buckland's paddock, Remuera, on Saturday. There were upwards nf 200 children present, and, thanks to the exertions of Bey. Mr Monro, Messrs J. M. Lennox, W. Dinnison, Trotter, W. and M. Ryburn, Miesea Patterson, Atkine, Kilgour, Law, and other ladies and gentlemen, an enjoyable day's outing wus provided for the little ones. During the course of the afternoon the Rjv. Mr Monro, who, in addition to his other congregational duties, acts as superintendent of the Sunday School, presented to the children the prizes won for good conduct and proficiency during the past year, also the certificates gained by scholars of St. Luke's at the recent Sunday School Industrial Exhibition.
