MIRACULOUS ESCAPE AT A RAILWAY STATION.
A most miraculouaescapefrominstantdeath is reported from Carmarthen, Wale?. As an express train was leaving the railway station, a country farmer hurried on to the platform, and made a rush at the train, when he slipped beneath the carriage, and was suspended between the footboard and the ironwork of the carriogo. Piercing cries wore raised by a crowd of persons on the. platform, and aftor the train had proceeded several hundred yards, it was brought to a standstill, when it was discovered that the man was wedged tightly in the framework of the carriage, and was comparatively unhurt. • ■ ~■ 1
