CONGREGATIONAL ONION OF NEW SOUTH WALES.
The business of the twenty-first annual session of the Congregational Union of New South Wales wub commenced in the Pitt street Congregational School Hall on October 13th. The meeting was opened by tbo retiring Chairman, the Rev Walter Mathiaon, 8.A., who, in laying down the honours of his office, thanked the members of the union for the kindness which they had invariably shown to him whilst be had had the pleasure of presiding ovor (he several meetings which had been held during the past year. In introducing the chairmanelect to the assemblage, Mr Mathison said it gave him much pleasure to introduce to tho union a man of such scholarly attainments and ability as the Rev. James Hill.
