Socialist Trouble in London.
London, October 10. Tjik Chief of tho Metropolitan Police has written to tho promoters of the projected Socialist demonstration on tho occasion of tho Lord Mayor's Show, on tho 9th prox., stating that tho proposed procc33ion will provoke gross disorder, and probably endanger life. Tho authorities, he gays, will hold tho Socialists responsible fcr any consequencea resulting from the projected procession.
