London, October 19.—Chas. N. Warton, late member for BiiUport, has boen appointed Attorney-General for Western Australia.

Colonial Products Compared. The " Times " praisea Victorian manu: factures, but considers th»t their textile fabrics hardly compare with those exhibited by Now South Wales and Kew Zealand. The same paper gives groat credit to South Australia for the display of wines, which are stronger and swootor than those of tho other colonies.

Trado in .England. London, October 11.—The Parliamentary returns just issued, show that there has beon a considerable revival in the trado of the country.
