The stained glass window to he erected in St. George's Church in memory of the late Archdeacon Lush, will be dedicated on Sunday next. A special meeting of tho Borough Council was held last night to consider the application of the Gruhamstown Fire Brigade for a superintendent of their own instead of one for both brigades us at present, and after considerable discussion of an animated nature the matter was practically shelved by a resolution being carried requesting the Grahumstown Branch to withdraw their application for the present. Tho members of the Graiiamstown Brigade express their determination of resigning in a body.
