TWENTY-THREE PASSENGERS ON BOARD.
Mi'.LnaußNK, this day. Holben, Larker & Co.'s steamer Wendourll, 3,000 tons, which left Melbourno on the 12th instant, for Sydney, has not since been heard of. She has 10 saloon passengers and 13 in tho forecastlo. Fears are entertained for her safety.
Capetown, Oc?. 15—The N.Z. Shipping Co.'a Tongariro left here this afternoon for Now Zealand.

The Shaw-Savillo and Albion steamship Coptic from Lyttelton, Sept. 21, loft here yesterday morning fnr Plymouth. Her cargo of meat is in good condition.
The New Zealand Shipping Co'a. Rimufcaka, from Lytteltun on the 23rd Sept., asrived yesterday evening with hor cargo of moat in good condition.
