F:n_ weather favoured the Onehunga Racing Club for their Spring Meeting today, and this was the means of inducing a good number of town people to journey out. The special trains which left at half-past tweive and ten minutes past one conveyed the bulk of tho visitors, and there seemed ovory prospect of the attendance being well up to tho average of country gatherings Tho programme sot down for decision is a most attractive one, includiug two steeplechases and a hurdlo raco, and altogether there was a capital afternoon's sport in store for lovers of racing. The first event was set down for decision at one o'clock.
