The hearing of the Little Barrier case, before tbe Native Land Court, was continued before Judge Puckey and Mr B. J. M. Edwards to-day. A great qvantity of evidence was taken. The chief, Te Hemera being in tha box for over an hour merely enumerating the genoalogies of his ancestors.
The monthly meeting of the Grafton Road Band of Hope will b-> held to-morrow evening. The usual programme of. 8on«s, dialogues, recitations. &0., will be given, while Mr R, Frenoh will deliver a short address.
