SNOWSTORMS IN THE SOUTH.

CiißisTCiiTßcn, this day. A snowstorm occurred here today heavier than has been oxporienced for 12 years. The enow is lying in the street four inches deep. Thetramcara were seriously hindered, but no interruptions to tbe railway traffic are reported. Blenheim, thia day. A heavy fall of enow took place on tho hills cloae to the town last night, followed by a eharp frost. Dunedin, this day. The anow fall here is the heavioat for years. It is ovor six inches deep.
