(Cambridge).— Tho pc<ligroo of Ormonde, the winner ot this yo-ii-'s English Derby and Two Thousand Guineas, is a very fashionable one. ills Biro Bond Or was a Derby winner, his grandsiro Doncaator wsb one also, a <1 his great grandsiro Stockwell won both the Two Thousand and St. Leger, whilst The Baron.siro of Stockwell, is also Included in the list of St Lager winners. Rouge Rose, Bend Or's dam, was also got by a Derby winner—Normanby—from Ellen Homo, who •goes back through her dam to Plenipotentiary. Ormonde's dam, Lily Agnes is also very nicely bred, her sire being Macaroni, winner of the Two Thousand and Derby, and her dam, Polly Agnes, was got by The Cure .rom Miss Agne3. by Sir Horcuh s' son, Irish Birdcatcher. Maca-oni mares hwo -earned great distinction at the stud in England and the New Zealand S.ud Company possess two of hia daughters in the shape of Florence McCarthy and Lovebird.
