Passed Madeira November 22nd; got the N.F. trades in 25deg. N„ had them very light, and lost them in 7dng. N from thence, unsettled weather to tbe Line, which was orofs-d 12th December, long. 27deg. W getting tho S.E. trades n*-xt day, wbioh were light at'd variable, and loat in 23deg. S., from thence to meridian HtCane,whloh wascroßßedStb January, in 3.d-g. S.. when we had heavy B.W. and P. gales, after which had succession of light winds fron* N.S. to P.Hi to long meg. ; thence moderate westerly winas. Rounded Tasmania, February 6, wind hauling to N. *. and N., freshing to a gale on the 11th.
