The Forthcoming Trades Congress In Auckland. A special meeting of the Trades and Labour Council was held in Robson's Rooms on Wednesday evening last, the President (Mr J. Grant) in tho chair. A telegram was read from the Secretary of the Executive in Dtinedin, fixing the dato of the next Congress to be held in Auckland on the 25th of this month. Mr Farnall was | elected to represent the Council at tho Congress, and Committees wore appointed to make the necessary arrangements for the hotel accommodation of tho Southern delegates, and for the leasing of a suitable hall for the Congress meeting.
