Forthcoming Eight Hours' Demonstration.

The Eight Hours Demonstration Committhe met last evening, Mr Millar being in tho chair. It was decided that tho different tradesshould walk in procession headed by a trolly containing a member at work, and tho following firms have kindly consented to provide trollies gratuitously :— Messrs Elliot, W. and G. Winstone, M. J. Craig, and W. Cruickshank. Tho delegate of the Seamen's Union atatod that tho Seamen's Onion would be headed by a trolly containing a lifo-boat manned by members of tho Union. The tondor of tho Garrison Band was accepted to provide two bands to ensure continued music during tho procession. Mr Millar was appointed Marshal of tho procession, and oach dolegato stated that tho body represented by him intended almost to a man to march in procession. It wan suggested that a certain number of games, such as Aunt Sallies, otc, should be allowed on tho ground. Tho following donations were roceived : —Mr Evans, . r>s; Dunningham and King, 10s 6d ; A. Brodie, 10s ; Mrs Sullivan, 5 ; W.J.E., 2s 6d.
