ACCIDENT IN A FOUNDRY.
An accident of a very painful nature happened yesterday afternoon to a youth named Alexander Bruce, an apprentice in Fraser and Tinne'a foundry. He was working some machinery when his hand was accidentally caught, and before the machinery could be stopped was badly crushed. Bruce went to the Hospital where the injury was attended to by Dr. Bond. He remained in the Hospital all night, and was able to go home this morning. The back of tha hand is crushed, but amputation will not be noccHsary.
