(Received August 11—12.30 p.m.) Victoria and tho Federation Act. Melbourne, this day.-It is understood that a bill accepting the provisions of the Federation Enabling Act will bo presented to the Tictorian Parliament with the least possible delay.
Strike of Omnibus Drivers. Melboubne, last night.—A meeting of omnibus drivers is now being held. From the tone of the proceedings it is probable that the strike will be resumed in consequence of the Melbourne Omnibus Company not reinstating the unionists.
This Day.—Omnibus strike has not been resumed, the Company having agreed to reinstate tho men from time to time, as
vacancies occur,
Australasian Federal Council.
Melbourne, this day.—lt is expected that the first meeting of the Australasian Federal Council will be held at Hobart on an early date next year.
