Tonkß and Co. sold the privileges for the Auckland Steepleohasj Meeting, to be held on fte 6th inst., at Ellerslle. as folio«s:--Good Templar booth (sole right), £8 IDs, Mrs Hunt; stabling, £1, Mr McGinn. Ihe booths, cards, grand stand bar. and remaining privileges, will be offered to-morrow, at noon. Mr R. Arthur held a large sale of watohes and •ewellery to-day. at his auction mart, but the irio.a generally ruled rather low. Tne sale was not concluded as we went to press.
