Wharfage Accommodation at the Kail-
way Wharf,
Tim dispute between tho Harbour Board and Frown Moat Company on this subjoct i. gradually becoming moro interesting. Tho Company havo now referred the matter to their solicitors, who wrote to tho Board to-day as follows :—" Wo beg to call the Board's attention to the clauso in the lease from tho Board to the Company, in which tho Board undertake within twelvo months to provide necessary wharf and -lied accomm-d-lion on tho portion of the lands in the lease marked B. Now as there is neither wharf n r shed ac ;om. modation of any that at the place indicated, the JS Tew Zealand Frozen Meat and Storago Company are unable to understand tho concluding remark of your letter beforo refeirad to, in which it is stated that "the Board does not consider tlie providing of any farther wharf or shed accommodation at the position marked B on the plan neceßgary at present." Will the Board kindly inform us specifically whether or not it intends to provide any wharf and shed accommodation at the place shown on the said plan and marked B.— Yours faithfully, Wiiitaker and Russell.
