Outwards Coastwise.—Huia, for Wade. The Alastor will come up from the powder ground, where she has anchored, to morrow. The schooner Waratah proceeds hence to Ploton on the discharge of her inward cargo. The Loch Naw had a moderately fair weather passage from Newcastle. The s.s. Arawata is expected from Lyttelton and Dunedin to-morrow. The schooner Sovereign left Port Chalmers yoaterday evening for Oamaru, where she will load with breadstuff's for this port. The s.b. Herald left Greymouth on Monday morning, coal laden, and had stormy weather throughout the passage. She arrived here at 2 a.m. to-day.

The brlgantine Ransom cleared this afternoon for Suwairrow and Savage Island. Passengers— Mr E. O. Niohols and child. Mr Jas. Reid, Mr George Henderson. Mr Arthur King, Mr F. E. Jackson, Mr A, Harris, and 15 Kanakas.

The brigantlno Sarah and Mary entered out today for Mercury Bay, where she loads timber for Gisborno.

The threo-masted schooner Waratah was at anchor at Rangitoto all night, and came into harbour this morning. She made the passage from Port Victoria In twelve days, had fine weather during the earlier part of the passage, and W.S.W. gales subsequently. The North Cape was made at midnight on the 26th, and 8.8.W. and westerly weather down the coast. The shipjlangitikel, Captain Cottier.l 05 days from London, arrived at Wellington yesterday. Off the Cape She had her deck swept during a heavy gale, and a number of moveable articles went overboard. She narrowly oscaped losing a boat. The barque Highland Glen, Captain Cane, 125 days from Liverpool, also arrived at Wellington. Part of her cargo is for Port Chalmers.

The s.s. Wellington arrived from Whangarei this morning, with the following passengers:— Misses Smith, Bushell. and McGregor, Mrs Mason and child, Mrs and Misses Taylor (2), Mrs Benain, Mr and Mra McArthnr, Mr and Mrs Sloman and family, Mr and Mrs Clark, Mr and Mrs Carter, Messrs Whito, Mane, Finlayson, Reid, Elliott, Brown, McLeod, McLean, T. Finlayson, Manuals, Deery.t). Anderson, Turnbull, Baker, McCorloy, Mr and Miss Davey, and 13 in steerage.

The B.S. Ohau left Dunodin at 9 p.m. on 18th, called at Oamaru. Timaru, Wellington, Napier, Gisbornc, Oreti Point, and Tauranga, leaving latter port 8.40 p.m. on the 28th and arrived Auokland 10 a.m. on 29th. Experienced light south-west airs and smooth sea to arrival. Paß--sengers:—Messrs Clarkln, Wilson, Frasar, Bauey, Smith, Mr and Mrs Brabant, Masters Lewis and Brabant, Mr Hawkeswood.
