Evening Stab Office, this day. Mr J. R, Randerson reports:—At tho saloof terated water plant, complete, &c„ on Wednesday, tho plant realised £10: portable b iler, £3 ss; ginger able, 2s 6d and 2j 9d per doz_i (pints and quarts mixed). At tho land sale today, buyers woro scarce, and tho rcsorvoa wore in no caso reached. The proporty is open for private sale.
Mr R. Arthur sold by auction to-day prooerties at Park Hill. Northcote, as follows :— Lots 1 and 2,15s per foot; lot 38s per foot: lots 5 and 3. 8s Sd per foot; lots, 7,9, 21, and 20, 7s 6d per foot.
Facts— Close confinement and careful attention to all factory work gives the operatives pallid faces, poor appetites, languid, miserable feelings, poor blood, inactive livor, kidneys. &c , and all the physicians and medicine in the world cannot help them unless they get out of d ;ors or use American Co.'s Hop Bitters. None naod suffer it they will use it freoly. See
