Tub Grand Lods° of LO- OT- ro3umed vosterday morning at nine o'clock, and con. tinued tho consideration of oWcial reports, which fere adopted, ft was resolved to ___md the resolution seeking severance gS the P.O.L It was resolved that Ithe Executive should urge upon Governmont tho necessity of taking vigorous measures for tho better onforcemont 'of the provisions of the Licensing ' Act iresarding the illegal snlo of liquor during prohibited hours. To this end, inspector, of licensed houses should bo appointed as provided in tho Licensing Act. Fraternal footings woro received from tbo Grand Lodge of Victoria, now in sossion. A ro.o'ltttion was adoptod rccommonding friendly societies not to moot in licenced houses, and asking-tbo Government to open tbo Savings Banks up to S p.m. on Saturdays. An address of welcome was presented to Mr ,Sam Camper.
