Dukedin, this day. tfe. MAONSELL, ex Health Officer, has Bent in a' report to tho City Council stating that the Silverstfeam Reservoir is unquestionably polluted by the nearness of the slaughter yards, piggeries, &c, from which seagulls convey offal to the reservoir. He says, with a few weeks warm weather, an epidemic will be almost certain.
