Destructive Fire.
Dctnedin, this day.—The premises of Miss Niveu, dressmaker, Caversham, were destroyed by firo on Saturday morning, together with tho adjoining seven-roomed unoccupied houso and a four-roomed house occupied by Joseph Elphinstone, accountant. All the buildings were owned by Huch Calmer. Insurances : £480 on the houses in tho Union ; Miss Niven's effects, £50 in the South British; and Elphinatono's, £120 in the London and Lancashire Offi §
