Thames, this day. Cambria.—A contract has been let for the extension of the cross cut at No. 3' level, and the successful party have started work! The mine still looks well, gold being found in each of the workings whenever quartz is broken, | Caledonian Low Level.—The cross leader m the south drive at the G4oft. level was broken down yesterday.and the quartz, though not containing visible gold, maintains a very kindly appearance.
