Strange Fatality
Dun'EDIN, this day.—A strange fatality occurred at Seaclifl'e Lunatic Asylum on New Year's Day. Two warders—William Matson and Gordon Ingrain—were larking, and the former asked the other to striko hitii in the chest. Ingram did so, and Matson foil down dead.
Caledonian Sports,
Tho Caledonian sports wCre well attended, and the Running Handicap was won by Skitch, and the Milb by tho English runner, Livingstone ; the Walking Race by Stenhouso, Light Wrestling by Tiffen, and Cornish by Robertson.
