N.B.—From and after the 15th November ult, the following rates of Postage must be prepaid on Correspondence for the United Kingdom, addressed to be sent via Brindial :— On all Lotters one shilling per half-ounce or fraction of half an ounce. On all Book Packets and Parcels, threepence for every two ounces or fraction of two ounces. On all Newspapers, twopence each. Correspondence addressed via Suez and Brindisi, and not fully prepaid, will be forwarded via San Francisco. In consequence of alterations ot Waikato Railway Time-table, the following lines of mails will he closed and received at Chief Post-office at hours stated below, commencing Monday, 24th ultimo:— Closed: From Penrose to Hamilton, at 7 p.m; Epsom to Mercer, at 9 a.m.; Penrose to To Awamutu, at 10.30 a.m.; Ellerslie to Mercer, at 3.30 p.m. Received: From Hamilton to Otahuhu, at 7 a.m.; from Mercer to Penrose, at 9.30 a.m.; Ellerslie to Epsom, at 11.30 a.m.; Mercer to Ellerslie, at 4.15 p.m.: Te Awamutu to Mercer, at 5.15 p.m. S.
