Tho sohconer Gisborne is advertised to leave on or about Tuesday next for Gisborno and the East Coast.

Tho Tongan Government schooner Sandfly left for Tonga this morning. Passengers:—The Misses Baker (2).

The s.s. Southern Cross arrived at Gisborne from this port at 5 p.m. yesterday.

Tho s.s. Thomas Russell left Gisborne for this port at 1 p.m. yesterday, and may be expected to arrive hero this evening.

The barquo Gefion came down from tho Sugar Company's Wharf lost evening, and her place was filled this morning by tho barquo Florence Treat.

Tho barquo Atlantic put out tho last of her cargo of raw sugar at tho Sugar Company's Wharf tliis afternoon. She will probably go into the stream this evening, and her place will be filled by tho Christine.

The s.B. Waitaki arrived from Whangarei last evening with tho following passongers :—Messrs Foster, Vickerman, W. Wilson, Whitelaw, Tucker, Stevens, Forder, Ferguson, Philp, Beasley, McLeod, Beotham, Hanner, and 9 fii the steerage.

The as. Maogregor arrived from Whangarei last evening. Passengers :—Misses MoLennon, Price, Mesdames Weaver, McKenzie, MoLennon, Wilkio, Messrs Jobson, Brown, McLean, White, McKay, MoDonald, Butlor, D. McLeod, G. McLeod, Oldham, Baur, and three steerage.'

Tho New Zealand Shipping Company's s.s. Dorio arrived, all well, at Rio on Saturday, and sailed for London on Monday. Hor meat was in prime condition.

The s.s. Clansman arrived from Mongonni, Whangaroa, and Russell, this morning, with the following passengers: — Messrs Logan, Churchward. Owen, W. Adamaon. Codlin, Dickenson, Davis, G. Foley, Fisher, Toir, Reid. Mrs Foley. Dr. Bulleid, Misses Wills. Benjamin, and Yates (2). Cargo —70 baleß wool. 250 sacks gum. The Westport Coal Company's Bteamer Orawaiti arrived from Westport this morning with 400 tons of cool, the greater part of which is for tho Hew Zealand Sngar Company, and will be discharged at the Company's Wharf. Flno weather was experienced during the passago np.
